Luci Sposito, CLED, PCED
Lafourche Parish Council, Vice Chair
Luci is a Certified Louisiana Economic Developer (CLED) and a Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED). She received her BA (English: Technical Writing) and Master of Business Administration from Nicholls State University.
​
On January 1, 2016, Luci began serving her first, four-year term as a Lafourche Parish Council Member. Her peers elected her to serve a vice-chair for 2017.
​
Prior to taking office, she served as an appointed member of the Mayor’s Executive Administrative Team for seven years under two City of Thibodaux mayors. The first two years was served as Marketing & Public Relations Director, and during the final five years, she served in dual roles as Grants & Economic Development Director and Communications Director.
​
She is a graduate of Leadership Lafourche and Partners in Policymaking. She is involved in numerous civic organizations and is committed to the community’s continued growth and prosperity.
